Boston University (BU) owns and operates Nickerson Field, a sports complex purchased by the University in 1953 and has been used to host various BU sports teams over the last six decades. The field is located to the west of the campus and will begin hosting a minor league baseball franchise.
The Project Management team will identify, organize, plan and implement a communications plan for this season to ensure the season goes accordingly. Stakeholders, risk mitigation and analysis, consideration of elements, security and management will be identified and evaluated.

The minor league team will play 75 home games between April and October nights.
.The field was once home to the Boston Braves prior to the University’s ownership in 1953, with a capacity of 9871.
The University hopes to entice BU students, faculty and staff with proximity.

The City of Boston includes The Boston City Administration, The Police Department, The Fire Department, and MBTA.
Local baseball teams
Other local baseball teams near the field have low power and medium interest to have an impact on the outcome of our project.
A baseball team manager
We need a manager in Nickerson Field, who has high power and interest in helping the team to manage the field and games.
Stakeholders
The project covers several stakeholders. It includes Boston city, Boston University, local residents and businesses, managers, other existing sports around Boston, facility management.
・A comprehensive management are the keys to a successful baseball facility and that is the reason why we need a manager in Nickerson Field.

Weather
According to the sheet above, we think that we should be more careful about the snow from December to March. Most of the snow are in this period so we have to cooperate with BUPD and Boston police office to guarantee the road clear. In addition, we can cooperate with Ambulance emergency center to make sure the medical rescue is prepared because the cold weather and wet slippery road may cause people get injured.
