FINAL ASSIGNMENT

Task details:

 This is an individual assignment composed of two parts.  You are asked to write an essay, proving answers to all the questions specified below (see page 2). Make sure you are providing sufficient and relevant

arguments sustaining your answers. In case of using real case example(s) in support of your standpoint, there should be a clear reference to that/those case(s).

 Besides the essay, you will be required to deliver an oral (in-class) presentation that will take place during the classes of Week 12 and 13, on April the 26th and May 3rd correspondingly (the date will be assigned in accordance with the students’ surnames alphabetical order).

 All the sources should be correctly cited, and the theories clearly identified.  The essay should contain introduction, body(discussion) and conclusion parts. Questions must be answered in an essay format, no bullet points allowed.  The essay submission must be in PDF file format and the oral presentation in PPT format.

Formalities:

 Wordcount: 1000 to 1500 words  Structure: Cover, Table of Contents, References and Appendix are excluded of the total wordcount.  Font: Arial 11 pts.  Text alignment: Justified.  Citation: The in-text References and the Bibliography must be in Harvard’s citation style.  PPT does not have a specific format, make sure it looks professional and is aligned to what you will expose during its oral presentation.

Submission: Week 11 – Via Moodle (Turnitin). Due by 25th of April 2021 at 23:59 (both essay and oral presentation PPT)

Weight: This task is 35% of your total grade for this subject.

It assesses the following learning outcomes:

Task:

Choose a company that has a solid on-line presence (web, social media, etc.). Research the available information and answer the following questions:

1. What is the role of Internet and social media in achieving responsible business? 2. Does the chosen company expressly position it as ethical business? * 3. Does the chosen company impact on the overall consumption? What effects does it have? 4. How does the chosen company deal with negative feedback/s on social media or other on-line platforms? *

*Answers to questions 2 and 4 should be provided with concrete extracts from on-line resources (links, screen captures, etc.)
