The James Brown Community Center
The community Center Division is responsible for venue services, events, and programs, and provides catering through Good Food Catering Services. The Division oversees the 10,000 square foot Community Center and is comprised of sales and operations sections to ensure the entire facility is utilized to its maximum potential. Directed public relations efforts, careful planning, aggressive sales programs, and efficient operating procedures are combined to produce optimum revenues.
Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Goals
· Attend four trade shows marketing the Community Center to increase the number of paid booking by 15%.
· Schedule, coordinate and enhance City-Sponsored meetings and events.
· Work in conjunction with the Information Technology Department to update, improve and enhance the Community Center website.
