Program evaluation
Overall Goal: Accessibility to contraceptives methods and resources to monitor sexual health
Process Objective: 3 months before the 1st conference, 100 random participants will submit a survey anonymously ranking how much they know about contraceptives and its benefits
Evaluation Question: how much or how little do participants know about contraceptives and its benefits
Evaluation Measure: Counting the total numbers of ranks with 1 as being highest vs 3 being lowest on whether they know about contraceptives or not.
Impact Objective: After the first session, 40% of participants will be able to identify 3 types of contraceptives.
Evaluation Question: Were the participants able to identify more contraceptive methods after the first session?
Evaluation Measure: Measure how many contraceptives were participants able to identify in the pre-survey, given before the program began, and how many contraceptives they were able to identify after the first session.
Outcome Objective: After 6 months of the program, 75% of the random participants will be able to understand the information about contraceptives and will have the knowledge/resources to know where to purchase the product.
Evaluation Question: After the 6 months, was there an increase of contraceptive used while intercourse?
Evaluation Measure: Assess the effectiveness of contraceptives by using resources such as the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and American Sexual Health Association(ASHA).
