Milestones:

This should be an argumentative / rhetorical essay ... (not just an opinion...)

- While this will be first-person position, it should not be just a narrative opinion.

- There should be something that can connect the reader to your experience.

Avoid:

"I think" -and- "I believe" -and- "In my opinion" (since we already know that this is your opinion).

Use terms like: "The reader learns..." -or- "We can see that…" -or- "It is apparent / obvious..." -or- "Perhaps / Maybe...", etc.

Try for 2.5 – 4.5 pages (typed, double-spaced, MLA format).
