EXAMPLES OF HOW AGREED-UPON STRATEGIES WERE IMPLEMENTED
Achieving the approach of maintaining cultural diversity in the classroom and easy management of groups formed in the learning environment can be done by ensuring that admissions in the school include students from various cultural backgrounds
The strategy of having a new curriculum is achievable and can ensure that all the stakeholders accept cultural diversity. Also, the development of educational programs on the cultural diversity issue can help the stakeholders determine the benefits of this curriculum and encourage the use of the cultural diversity policy in the classroom setting
OUTCOMES OF STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION
The The example of doing group assignments turn out to be a great strategy versus doing individuals assignments. The group assignments allowed the staff and parents to get to know one another and learn different cultures.
The example that included creating pamphlets and seminars to inform and educate stakeholders on matters regarding cultural competence and appreciation of diversity was a success. The phamlets were used as a guide for students and parents to show them that diversity and culture are an important part of our learing strategies.
DATA THAT REINFORCES THE CONTINUATION OR MODIFICATION OF STRATEGIES USED
Working in groups ensures the school can rule out issues that hinder cultural diversity by providing that the school's teamwork activities come from different cultural societies.
Having the educators select group members based on their culture has been a successful operation in making all learning activities culturally sensitive and ensuring diversification operations are a must. However, there is a massive gap in realizing creating an educational program on cultural diversity and appreciating different cultural backgrounds.
PERSONAL REFLECTIONS ON EXPERIENCES OF COLLABORATING WITH FELLOW COLLEAGUES
The experience of carrying out this project has been a great experience all together. I was able to ensure that the significant and persistent issue within the school is addressed. It has presented an opportunity to determine how certain constraints such as finances can constantly hinder eliminating problems. It provided an opportunity to perform research while understanding the learning environment better.
