· Create a narrator (in 1st or 3rd person) who relates two events/concepts within some kind of organizing principle under the general umbrella of “First Love.” Use Beckett’s style as inspiration. Write with images in mind. Show the reader what exists—don’t tell them.

▢ Revise sentences for better word choice (eliminate “get/got,” etc.)
