Language Activities
1)Fantasy dress up- Dressing up will offer children a chance to develop new language.
2.)Sing fun songs to help memorize rhymes- We will sing songs that recite the word, feeling, and spelling of the word.
3.)Story Telling- Have the children draw pictures on posters boards to tell stories about a time they felt happy, sad, excited, or any feeling.
Manipulatives
Teddy Bear or doll- I would add this item to the bag for the student to be able to have something to hug if they are feeling sad.
How do I feel Journal- I would add this for students to either draw how they feel or write what they want in the journal. This is something that could be done with a family member.
Sensory toys- I would add feeling squeeze balls- They could use this as a fidget toy.
