7.20.21 Very good start on the project! Please provide a detailed description of the Company X's culture based on the cultural assessment results. The description should go beyond just listing the cultural assessment data. Your discussion should provide general insight into the core of the company culture. The description must also include at minimum 1 aspect of the organizational culture (shared assumptions, values and beliefs, type of culture and subcultures, and areas of agreement or disagreement among employees, etc.). The description must be supported by project details and learning resources. 7.20.21 Good start on discussing the cultural improvements needed at Company X. To achieve mastery for this rubric element, you will need to provide an explanation of the organizational culture addressing in detail at a minimum 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses of the organizational culture. Each strength and weakness must be explained thoroughly and not just mentioned. Please be sure to back up each strength and weakness description using the supporting statements and data in the project. Supporting rationale and/or statements should include some description of the employee survey data with respect to higher percentages in key areas of agreement/disagreement/neutral feedback. This information should be accompanied by a discussion of what this information means in terms of the organization. Please identify a minimum of two aspects that hinder or support the company’s effectiveness and performance. Organizational effectiveness is best measured through performance and productivity metrics and measurements. Use the Productivity Report in determining aspects that support and/or hinder organizational effectiveness. Using the Productivity Report or Research, please provide a description of how the metrics offer support of or create hindrance to effectiveness and efficiency. This rubric criteria is different than the strengths and weaknesses of organizational culture, it focuses on aspects that support or hinder the company's effectiveness and performance. Think about the following to help with your revision: - Using the Productivity Report section in the Cultural Assessment document, what cultural elements support the organization's effectiveness and performance? - Conversely, what cultural aspects may be a hindrance to the organization's effectiveness and performance? - After review of the Cultural Assessment data, what insights can be identified in terms of organizational effectiveness and performance from the employee's perspective? The rubric requires a discussion on best practices to effectively administer a cultural assessment while considering strategies the new HR manager can use to mitigate potential biases in the data. Remember a cultural assessment is a survey that will measure employee attitudes, feelings, and perceptions about the culture. Please be sure your detailed discussion includes at minimum 2 best practices in administering a cultural assessment on a company. The description must also include at least 2 strategies that will help mitigate potential bias in the cultural assessment data. These 2 strategies must be adequately described and supported by the learning resources. These will be actions that the company can take based off the consultant findings. The recommendation must include at least 1 of the following considerations for organizational improvement: role of management and leadership, communication techniques, alignment of values/views/shared assumptions/beliefs and impacts on effectiveness and performance. Each recommendation should be supported by employee survey data and feedback.
