You are going to address how health education and health promotion can be applied through the 5 levels of the ecological model to address this issue. For example, individual level-looks at knowledge, attitudes toward nutrition and physical activity. What are the eating habits? Getting enough activity? Social support level-looks at the role family, friends, health care providers and health education specialists can do. Many health education specialists educate on this issue. Friends/family can encourage each other to excerise more.  Organizational level-what are state and local health depts doing? Professional associations such as American Public Health Association? Community level- looks into support groups, non-profits role, and any health collaboratives that address this issue. Policy-look into healthy people objectives, any mass media campaigns out there?CDC guidelines, etc.
