Subject: New Guidelines to be followed by Fans for Stadium Access

I’m writing to inform Chelsea FC fans that as fans are allowed back into soccer matches, extra

measures have been implemented to safeguard the health of Chelsea FC fans and stop the spread

of the covid-19 virus. These rules are being adopted due to the need to prevent the spread of the

virus. The new limits will impact soccer fans all around the country the government has imposed

because of the Covid-19 virus. These restrictions will require proof of a negative lateral flow test

or double vaccination for sporting events that have audiences of over 10,000 people.

Attendance at Premier League games requires either the NHS Covid-19 app or documentation of

a negative lateral flow test within the last 48 hours. The recommendations are intended to [assist

in] maintaining soccer match venues at maximum capacity while simultaneously giving anybody

who watches them the certainty that individuals around them have done the right thing to lessen

the risk of damage to others.

Fans 18 or older, registered with a general practitioner, and meet any of the following criteria are

eligible to receive a governmental Covid-19 pass through the NHS Covid-19 app.

• At least two weeks have passed since they received their 2nd vaccination.

• They have reported on the NHS website that they have received a negative result from

either a PCR test or a lateral flow test within the past 48 hours.

• Within the last half-year, they have produced a positive PCR test result, and they have

completed the process of isolating themselves.

A recent negative lateral flow test will suffice as evidence of immunization for those fans who

have not yet had the opportunity to do so.

It will be essential for supporters to arrive at the stadium earlier than normal because of the

verification procedure, which is expected to result in longer, slower-moving lines. Chelsea

Football Club has already put in a lot of effort to ensure that they are ready for anything. To gain

entry to the stadium, visitors must confirm a double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test,

respectively. We ask Chelsea FC supporters to adhere to the rules to guarantee the seamless

operation of any new processes.
