History Assignment
Why were the Wampanoags and the Pilgrims interested in forming an alliance in
1621?
Wampanoag refers to one of the majority peoples in North America. These
individuals existed long before the Europeans arrived, and even today, these individuals
are still able to survive. Most people use the term Indian to describe or describe us, that
is, most individuals who are described as native Americans. Thus, the Wampanoag
refers to the people of the first Light. In 1621, the Reason Noah and the Wampanoag
made an alliance was because One reason was that the pilgrims landed in England, after
which they failed to reach the gentle mouth of the Hudson River, which was where they
wanted to enter (Toensing, 2016). The reason was that they had little food, not even
water, and no knowledge that would allow them to reach the new world they expected
to reach.
As a result of this, the Wampanoag promises to be a necessary means of enabling
these people to fulfill their destiny and even become their expectations. The two
associations therefore believed that they could establish one in 1621 in order to be able
to reach the area they expected to reach this year. Most importantly, the Wampanoag
indicated that they could establish a beneficial relationship, and that the pilgrims would
be at the point where they would exchange weapons with the Wampanoag for food. The
above, therefore, is an important aspect leading to an alliance or alliance between the
two countries, since the organizations concerned all feel that they can benefit from such
an approach. In other words, each organization needs each other in order to achieve the
desired goals.
In this connection, one needs to know that at the moment of the Pilgrims' arrival at
Plymouth, Massasoit was the leader of the Wampanoag people, in 1620. This man is
thought to be fond of what he hears, especially in the sense that Britain will form an
important ally against those who seem to be their enemies in the region. In this case,
the pilgrims decided that they needed a treaty of peace and made sure that they achieved
everything they expected, which would not have been possible without such a treaty.
As such a treaty was urgently needed, and the pilgrims fulfilled their expectations, it
was necessary to draw up the treaty of 1621, which was intended to ensure that all the
expectations of the organizations, and especially of the pilgrims, were fulfilled
(Mayflower, 2018). Negotiations were therefore important, especially between the
leaders of the two organizations, so that every company could benefit, and the most
important companies considered to benefit were pilgrims determined to reach the
Wampanoag center. In this case, the agreement between the two sides is important,
especially when the pilgrims fulfill their expectations. Thus, although the Wampanoag
were a majority nation, they forged alliances with the pilgrims to fulfill their hopes of
reaching the mouth of the Hudson River.
Why did this alliance end in 1675? In other words, what were the primary causes
of King Philip's War?
Despite their alliance, the situation eventually ended in 1675, or king Philip's war
of 1675. The root cause was the colonists' unrelenting desire for more and more land.
In this case, the Wampanoag realized that their opponents were hungry for more land,
and this situation did not allow them to remain together. In other words, if one side
realizes that the alliance is not for mutual benefit, but that one side is trying to exploit
the other's interests, the alliance may be dissolved. Thus, this approach is a significant
cause of the disintegration of the Alliance.
Another important reason for the union's failure was the execution of three
Maycomb people by people they believed were colonists. This situation may be
considered a failed effort, especially by the new Native Americans of England, to drive
out the colonists who seemed to have great influence in the region, who were also led
by Chief Wampanoag. This leads both sides or countries to believe that they are
betraying each other and is a potential cause of war on both sides. Another basic
description of the war is that each side seems to have its own expectations and
everything to gain from the alliance. However, different desires are different, and each
group views the other as a traitor and never supports the other's ideology. The situation
has therefore led to a conflict.
