IFSM 438 WEEK 5
Q a
The estimation mistake occurred at an organization that attempted to share different tasks among stakeholders so that collaboration would result in corporate responsibility. Activity durations for the project were inappropriately managed, and this caused some stakeholders to develop substandard work operations. Well-informed management of all operations was expected in the initial planning session by creating potential project outcomes that deal with building a better lounge. An initial understanding got applied since clients required aesthetically pleasing areas that captured visitors' attention. The planning process was developed to ensure all parties receive expected outcomes from the project estimation process (College, 2019).
Q b
During estimation, the strategy adopted was to divide project activities into 12 weeks that the entire project was supposed to complete. The activity durations rely on working with organizational stakeholders to handle client requirements in methods that generate good outcomes (College, 2019). Another estimation method was using the shortest time possible and stakeholders' comments about managing project development to have fair representation for the entire project task divisions. In addition, an internal contingency measure got developed to promote project completion for the process. Yet, issues occurred due to the limited capability of collecting resources that had not been attained from the initial project planning session.
Q c
Issues developed due to a planning period of only three days, yet the project's scope was high since it involved the renovation of an office lounge. The project phases were planning, defining activities, estimating activity resources, and developing a schedule (Watt, 2014). The estimate was inaccurate based on the limited duration of the planning sections since critical ideas get shared when planning the entire project.
Q d
The estimation problem caused the application of an inside scoop for personnel so that the project development process would get conducted as required. As a result, it became highly detrimental for the entire project to attain management since the persons involved had a higher advantage of submitting changes in their work environment. However, they did not provide outside comments on unique project management (Watt, 2014). Therefore, it can be dangerous for the host company to continue business processes because the competitor solves clients' issues precisely as required.
Q e
Issues developed during the project management process since it became hard to correlate the proposed project process to actual activities. The estimation process did not integrate precise requirements, which later caused a limited time to recover from internal project issues. Another consequence became hostility among project stakeholders since the confusion that ensued after poor planning caused problems generating each person's full robust capability.

PROFESSOR FEEDBACK
When I first starting reading your post, I thought the project being discussed was a corporate responsibility project. However, you mentioned an "office lounge." The last two sentences of the last paragraph on the estimation process, and the hostility among stakeholders was the most interesting.
This is a perfect example of a wonderful, even brilliant post being driven by the references, instead of your thoughts. Yes, references are required. However, it is your thoughts that have value. References are used to support "your" thoughts, as oppose to drive the discussion. I think if you had provided additional information on the projects (e.g., the project name, scope of work, etc.) it would have assisted in understanding the issues you identified in the last paragraph.
Remember, you are the person that has the great mind, the best thoughts, and provides the greatest value. References are used to support your point-of-view, your ideas. Think of it this way, the use of a reference gives your thoughts credibility, and supports the facts. Example, if you state that 75% of software projects fail, you need to provide a reference to support that fact and ensure your audience that the fact quoted as veracity. There may be others references that have a different percentage, but you only need to provide one (for this class) supporting reference.
This post had the elements of being quite brilliant - if it had just a little more your you!
