Memo to Decision-Maker
Overall, a well organized memo. However, this topic may not be able to researched. How can you ever prove that there is a hiring bias in your company against hiring college grads? You have to prove that there is a problem and what that problem is in your company. You then have to prove that your solutions will work to benefit your company financially, etc. Your topic would be better if it were more concrete and thus more provable.
Greatly expand your Summary and Conclusion sections.
As this assignment is in block format, you need to double-space between headings and the text following and between paragraphs.
Below are suggestions for the sections of this assignment. Be sure you expand your secondary research section with examples, etc. Also, greatly expand your Summary and Conclusion sections.
What workplace? Be sure that you name the place or organization or neighborhood that this study is about.
In the summary section, in one paragraph I should learn (1) what the problem is and (2) what the areas of solution to be researched are and (3) what the methods of research to be used are, etc. Preview the memo.
In the What the Problem is, etc. section, be sure to indicate what the problem is and why the problem needs to be investigated.
The secondary research section means the library research you've done. Be sure you specify a couple of the articles that show the problem or solutions, etc.
The benefits and recommendations section show what the real benefits to the company are.
Use a numbered and formatted list in the benefits and recommendations section to break up all the regular prose paragraphs.
In the conclusion, ask for permission to research but also persuade us of the importance of this project, etc. Expand to persuade.
