Please utilize your critical thinking skills. Psych providers may be limited on conducting physical exams but we should know what to assess. Discuss what systems you will be assessing and discuss why? What is the significance of assessing this specific system? CITE you work.

Please read my announcements regarding the comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Please mention the significance of obtaining imaging, labs, and validated tools. An example of a validated tool is PHQ 9 for depression. Lab results that can affect patient's mood are CBC, CMP, TSH, T4, T3, vitamin D, and vitamin B-12. At least an initial EKG should be obtained for patients who are receiving stimulants , especially patients with cardiovascular comorbidities. Pregnancy test should be conducted on women of childbearing age. Urine drug screen should be collected if warranted. Please cite your work.

You must have at least three differentials with supporting evidence. Explain what rules each differential in or out and justify your primary diagnosis selection. You will use supporting evidence from the literature to support your rationale. Include pertinent positives and pertinent negatives for the specific patient case.
