II assignment
This dissertation still suffers from the problem of mismatched units of analysis: IV: diversity (percent of females at a bank) has the unit of analysis of GROUP. DV: job performance has the unit of analysis of INDIVIDUAL.
This problem is emphasized in this literature review which includes zero literature on job performance. This problem is unlikely to be resolved.
Themes are well organized, but there is no literature on the DV, job performance. In chapter one, you stated his dependent variable is "job performance." We had much communication about this versus "firm performance" as dependent variable. Now in chapter two, you have returned to the idea that his dependent variable is "firm performance." This is inconsistent. Either chapter 1 or chapter 2 needs to be re-written.
