Internet Privacy

For the longest time possible, people have been fighting to maintain their privacy at all costs in order to spare some of time and space for and to themselves, however, as the times are evolving, it has become more and more difficult to offer privacy. This is a very alarming era since privacy is one of the main humanity freedoms and rights that has been fought for the longest time possible and it is easily becoming eroded by the sheer desire of attaining connectivity. The internet has literally made the globe a virtual small village that is connected with networks that collect and store information such as Google maps. This is a great challenge to society as well as to the individuals whose information is being displayed since it raises a number of risks that are difficult to control once such data is in the wrong hands.

The evolution of technology has also brought about a new race of criminal minds known

as hackers. These criminal master minds have the ability of stealing individuals’ identify simply by accessing the private and personal information that is left lying around across the internet.

Having personal addresses and donations amounts on online platforms also makes it easier for thieves with hacking capabilities to commit home vandalism since the donation amounts ranks as an individual’s financial wellbeing (Baruh, Secinti & Cemalcilar, 2017).

Cases of kidnapping and violent activities such as murder among others are prone. This is so since the internet’s larger portion, the dark web, is one that is not easy to access and monitor and happens to be the back channel of many fraudulent activities such as orders for kidnappings among other things. Therefore, hackers can be hired to find out the locations and addresses of people and this can easily turn into a tragic experience (Elhai & Hall, 2016). Privacy being the
