Your task in Project 3 was to conduct a global industry comparative analysis to help develop the strategy for expanding your organization's products into a new country. You were asked to make the report in 14-15 pages including in it your analysis and recommendations from Steps 8–12, analysis from Week 1 (Steps 1-5: organization profile) and Week 2 (Steps 6-7: industry analysis) of the project.

Below are my comments on your final report:

The introduction, p. 4 should tell the reader the approach you have adopted to analyze Noble Energy’s entry into Nigeria, such as, analysis of their strategy and competitive position, financial performance, industry trends, Porter’s Five Forces, etc. You describe the business of the company as “occupied with the oil and gas business”. It should be clarified if it is in one or more of the areas of extraction, refining or distribution.

You mention that “As Noble Energy dispatches the Oil product offering into Nigeria the organization must dissect the nation dangers and the key arrangement. The accompanying paper will dissect the dangers of entering the Nigerian market and the vital arrangement the company will take after to make Oil effective in Nigeria”. Note that the purpose of the paper is not to “dissect the dangers of entering the Nigerian market”. The purpose is to conduct a global industry comparative analysis to help develop the strategy for Noble Energy to expand its products into a Nigeria.

Your executive summary, p. 4, reads more like an introduction. It states that “Noble Energy (NBL) is a United States organization that is occupied with the oil and gas business. The Certificate of Formation was compelling on in 1995, perceived by the Office of the Secretary of State”.  How does the company plan to “broaden oil products and administrations by venturing into "green" energy”? The statement “…. age of spotless and sustainable wind and sun powered energy from similar properties that oil and gas is being delivered from” is not clear.  Statement that “Oil and gas creation properties situated along the Nigerian drift are in a perfect world arranged for the catch and age of wind and sun oriented power” is not clear. Your paper does not mention that Noble Energy should enter Nigeria with wind or solar energy.

Note that the executive summary may be the only page from your report that gets read by top management, so it must be able to present the essential issues in the paper: main points, analysis and, recommendations for Noble Energy’s proposed entry into Nigeria.  The suggested format in Project 3 description to start your executive summary was "It is recommended that (selected client organization) enter the (named country) with its (specified product)". Inclusion of your estimates of the market size, growth and financials should be part of your executive summary. Several of your statements  are poorly constructed sentences and are unclear.  For example, “Offering power again into the power framework will make a productive and finish vitality catch on an appropriate property”.

In Organization Profile, pp. 5-6, you mention that Noble Energy has almost thirty percent market share of petroleum and petroleum products in the United States because “A core competency of the company rests in its relationship with international firms”. How does this relationship make it a dominant player in the US? Is it because the company imports its oil products from companies outside US? How would this competency help the company enter the Nigerian market?

Industry analysis, p. 6, actually describes the business of the company. Here you should describe the competitors of Noble Energy? What are the dominant characteristics and current trends in the industry?  What is the industry size in terms of the number of companies, total employment, capital investment, major customers, and annual revenues. What are the driving forces of change in the industry, (e.g., innovation, technology, and buyer preferences and lifestyles)? How do organizations compete within the industry and what are the critical success factors in this industry?

The discussion on Risk Analysis, Exchange and repatriation of funds risks, Taxation and Double Taxation Risk, Market Risks (four Ps), Distribution and supply chain risks, Physical and environmental challenges

Social and cultural risks, Technology Risks, and Risk Management, pp. 6-15, does not flow logically and is largely un-connected with the requirements of Project 3. There are several examples of weak grammar, poor sentence structure, for example, “Despite the fact that lately, Nigeria has made significant advances as to innovation, the nation is still vigorously dependent on remote financial specialists to present and store new advances. Thusly, out-dated frameworks can upset business tasks or speak to extensive uses for required updates”, and “Promoting choices can affect the way Noble Energy works together and cost the organization pointless assets”.

The description of Porter's Five-Forces analysis, pp. 16-19, needs improvement. You should summarize your assessment on how you rank these forces as high, medium or low. The purpose is not to discuss how Noble Energy can or should deal with these forces. As with the rest of your report this section too is full of poor grammar, weak sentence structure and unclear meanings.

Analysis of Noble Energy’s  financial performance should be included in your paper. It should be supported by the company’s financial statements over last 5 years.

PESTEL analysis, pp. 21-23, should be focused on Noble Energy’s proposed business in Nigeria.  It does not analyze the environment for Noble Energy’s business prospects in Nigeria. Statements such as “The organization takes after genuine components fuse wellbeing and security; equal the initial investment with conditions, advancing standards, buyer rights and laws, thing checking and thing prosperity” are too vague.

Your paper should also be supported by Global Market Opportunity Assessment, and Global Value Chain.

Reference of ‘Market Teacher (2011)’ in the reference list is not mentioned in your paper.
