The Federal No Child Left Behind Act

Education is the only key to success in life
This mindset is what inspired the American government to create the No Child Left Behind Act
In 2000 the National Assessment of Academic Progress reported that only 1/3 of all students are on par with the curriculum
By 2009 there was a 25% increase in student structured learning assessments
-Although the increase is positive there has been some major pushback in regards to government vs. state power -More recently the Government is accused on settling on choice that will profit the whole nation rather than benefiting individual schools.
However, 64% of teachers and administrators agree that no child left behind has provided an equal opportunity for students to have a quality education.
