Discussion Grading Criteria

27-30 All of the components below are present and complete • Response meets 500-word* minimum requirement

• Linkage to weekly course material is clear and logical with appropriate Employment/Labor Law language used and citations as required.

• Response to each question provides sufficient depth to cover the topic consistent with assignment instructions and appropriate support as

outlined in the course syllabus.

• Response is well written and free from writing errors (grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, spelling etc.). • Follow up response is substantial and identifies specific aspects of the classmate’s initial post that is valid AND/OR invalid AND presents a

reasonable justification for agreement or disagreement. (Follow up post does not require meeting the 500 word minimum requirement) • Adherence to the assignment instructions, including formatting, citations, etc. • All references and in-text citations are in proper APA format. (Note: Document does not need to be in APA format, ONLY references and

citations)

24-26 One of the components below is missing/incomplete/insufficient but overall the discussion is well done with only minor correc tions needed. • Response meets 500-word* minimum requirement
