The concepts of love and sexuality have consistently fascinated people for millenniums. In fact, the antecedents, features, and consequences of love have captured the attention of songwriters, philosophers, poets, and even religious scholars for a long time. Sex and sexuality have been far less acknowledged, particularly outside the home, despite their clear and strong associations as expressions of intimacy. Research into sex and sexuality has moved from descriptions of behavior to a focus on the interactive nature and communication of sexual intent. In this section, we will look at the attitudes and behaviors surrounding these two topics.
