Fast Food Fiasco
Melody goes through the McDonald’s drive-thru to buy some food. She hears the employee say, in a heavy
accent, “Please to have the order.” Melody says, “I will have a hamburger hold the onion and the pickles, a
large fry and an Oreo McFlurry.” The employee says, “Sorry, please to repeat.” So Melody repeats her order
again. The employee then says, “Okay, hamburger with onion and pickle, large fry and orange McFlurry.”
Melody says, “Just forget it” and she drives away.

Dorm Room Drama
Jen and Kim are college roommates and just moved into school together. They were getting along great the
first week of school, but then Jen decided to decorate their room with some of her belongings. She is very
religious and hung a crucifix over the doorway. She also wrote religious quotes on their bulletin board and left
the Bible on the desk. However, Kim is atheist and doesn’t follow any formal religion. In fact, sometimes she
even questions whether God even exists and hates when people push their religious views on her. When she
sees the religious items, she freaks out and tells Jen to take them down immediately. Jen refuses and says she
has every right to express her religious views.

Car Accident Catastrophe A senior citizen is driving along the road approaching a red light, but misjudges the distance and hits the car in front of her. When she gets out of the car, the other driver comes rushing over. The other driver is a teenage boy and starts cursing at the older woman. He yells things like, “What’s wrong with you? Didn’t you see me? What are you blind or something? You shouldn’t even be on the road at your age!” Answer the following questions in a 100-200 word paragraph:
