In the past year and again today our local community is dealing with another case where a police officer has killed a person of color. This is difficult on many levels.
1. For this optional extra credit assignment, I am asking you to react to the Daunte Wright or Amir Locke cases. Share with me your own thoughts on these cases and how they have affected you. (4 points)
2. Relate how something you have learned in this class has change/confirmed or affected how you think about these cases (4 points).
I am looking for thoughtful responses to each question (about 3/4 page on each question, not just a regurgitation of the facts of what happened from the newspaper). I want to hear your own thoughts, whatever they may be and relate them to something we have discussed of covered in this class.
