This week you are learning about the basic chemistry principles that are biologically important. In this conference we are going to continue to explore the 3 types of chemical bonds (covalent, ionic, and hydrogen) that are described in the textbook and module.

How would you describe this type of chemical bond to a middle school child (6-8th grade)?
Include in your description an analogy of this type of chemical bond to a relationship or scenario that would be familiar to the student as well as a scientific definition of this type of bond in your own words. Use your imaginations and draw on your own experiences to help you come up with this. Make sure that your analogy is different from your classmates.
