Many artists exploit irony, satire, parody, the absurd and the grotesque, among other efforts in

an attempt to harness them for artistic purposes. Sometimes, it feels like people looking at art

in galleries or museums is a very serious affair.

But, not all art is that way.

Some is humorous or whimsical, etc. When used to good effect, humor can provide a levelling

sense of relief, the sense that art doesn't have to be a highbrow challenge. Instead, it can be

fun. Since I believe art should provoke a range of emotions, here’s an opportunity to share an

art piece that you find humorous.
