Business Continuity Plan & Disaster Recovery Plan

The concepts in this course helped me understand how the Organization do the Disaster recovery plan. We have a disaster recovery plan every year in our company and I have been exploring so many things this year to create various test plans. and in recognizing key considerations when conducting a business impact analysis.

Information Security and Risk Management

This course helped in better understanding on Implementation of code to avoid from the threats and attacks on application. Also helped me involved in providing the security for the application and Identifying the vulnerabilities that causes security breach.

Cryptography

Cryptography helped me with the concepts of encryption and decryption of data. I was part of the Encryption project (Babysteps v6 Security Updates) for the major Revenue generating application of our company called Babysteps. where we have used some third party tool for the purpose of Encryption on this application servers in Production. RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) algorithm helped me in understanding of the sensitive information and helped me in creating test cases in Storing/hiding the Usernames, Passwords Credit card details with the help of Shared preferences

Application Security

Coding errors were controlled with the knowledge gained from this course. Various database models have been implemented in my automation when continuous test automation scripts are executed. and identifying how the data is getting captured at the backend.
