Expectations of the Mulligan:

1) Choose one book on workplace communications/dynamics (based on RADAR http://libguides.sait.ca/RADAR ) that is between 150 pages and 350 pages.

2) Approve the title, author, and date published with your instructor.

3) Read it.

4) Review it in writing for your instructor.

5) Use IEEE conventions and citation.

6) Structure your review using: introduction, body, and conclusion.

7) Consider audience, purpose, and message before writing your review.  

8) Write between 4 and 6 double-spaced pages (1,000-1,500 words), using complete paragraphs, well-structured sentences, and proper grammar.

9) Answer all or at least 5 of the following questions:

· What is the book about?

· What authority does/do/doesn't the writer(s) have?

· Why would you recommend it to your fellow classmates?

· Why would you recommend it to your instructor?

· What, if any, aspects of the book would you not recommend?

· Who else has reviewed the book and what did that reviewer say about the book?

· How would (or wouldn't) the book's content be relevant in the architectural field?

· When do you anticipate using this book's content in your life?

10) Anticipate your grade as being based on: solid writing, demonstrated organization, and thoughtful analysis.
