EXPERIMENT 1: VIEWING PRESERVED SPECIES OF PROTISTS

In this experiment you will look at preserved specimen slides from the Protist kingdom. While examining the slides, pay close atten- tion to the individual characteristics (e.g., flagella, color) of each organism.

PROCEDURE

1. Observe the detail of each organism in Figures 6 and 7 (e.g., Are flagella present?, What is the size?).

2. Answer the post-lab questions.
