For this week's exercise, we need to try a few logit models (see this link for more informa!on:

h"ps://stats.idre.ucla.edu/r/dae/logit-regression/)

Track 1 EXCEL: Please run the three models (using the usual HMGT400Hospital.CSV

dataset) and complete the tables. Use Excel Online with the XLMiner Analysis ToolPak add-in

(FREE) and data uploaded to OneDrive. You can insert the ToolPak by clicking "Insert", then

"Office Add-ins" and then select the Data Analy!cs add-in called "XLMiner Analysis ToolPak"

(not the visualiza!on app). Create an extract of our class data file and upload the data extract

to OneDrive.

Logit Model 1: Run a logit model to explain the "being a member of a network" variable

(system_member). What is the impact of hospital costs on determining the "being a member

of a network" variable? Or what is the rela!onship between "being a member of a network"

network on hospital cost, hospital revenue and out its impact on ra!o-Medicare-discharge
