TASK: For this assignment, you will summarize the chapter entitled "On Washing Hands" from the book Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance by Atul Gawande.
Using Figure 9.6 (on back) as a guide and the organizational plan on pages 436-38, please do the following:
1. Print, read and annotate the work.
2. Write a one-page Executive Summary of the work. The report should be single spaced with double spacing between paragraphs. Each paragraph should be about only one topic and should include: Purpose, Key Problem, Criteria Used to Solve Problem, Findings, Conclusions/Solutions, Recommendations (436-38).
3. Post your Executive Summary on Moodle by class time on Sept. 25. Also, turn in both your annotated article and your summary to me in class.

Organizational Plan for Executive Summary (437-38):
1. Begin with the purpose and scope of the report.
2. Relate the purpose to the key problem.
3. Identify in non-technical language the criteria used to solve the problem.
