Using the U. S. Population projections in the worksheet for 2015 and 2060 please complete the following:

a.) In Column D enter a formula which computes the total change in the projected percentages for each age category from 2015 to 2060.

b.) In Column E enter a formula which computes the percent change in the projected percentages for each age category from 2015 to 2060. Format as a decimal to 3 places. Then in Column F copy these decimals and format as percentages to 1 decimal place.

c.) There are 3 separate demographic groupings: Both Sexes, Male, and Female. Each of these is subdivided into various age categories, some of which overlap. Focus just on the Both Sexes data. Determine the three age categories that represent the entire U.S. population and in cells I29:J29 enter a formula that adds the percentages for these three categories.

d.) In the Pie Chart Table below, enter a simple formula in each cell that links to each of the three age categories from part c above and the associated percentages. So if the first age category is in cell A8 then in cell I31 you would enter =A8.

e.) Create 2 pie charts for each year using the data in the pie chart table.

f.) Which demographic group is growing as a proportion of the entire population over this period?
