General instructions:

As this work is presented for grading, it is the student’s responsibility to provide answers in a neat and legible presentation.

Specific instructions:

· 1. You are allowed to take a maximum of 5 articles into the exam room with you. You can take all of each of the articles, or as much of its content as you feel is important to you completing the assessment. These are then to be used to construct the literature review of your chosen subject. It is expected that the word count will be approximately 1000 words.

· 2. You are not allowed to highlight any sections of the articles until you enter the exam room. You will be supplied with a highlighter.

· 3. Any additional writing on any page of the articles that you take into the exam with you will be deemed as pre-preparation and will not be permitted. Contravention of either this regulation or no.2 will result in your paper receiving a zero grade.

· 4. You are required to staple each of the articles in the top left-hand corner, and then to number them 1-5.

· 5. You are also permitted to take in a pre-prepared reference list. This should comply with APA standards. This is to be submitted when you hand in your final paper. If you do not bring it with you into the exam room, you will need to add it to your written paper, and as there is a maximum of 4 pages of space in which to complete your 1000 words, there may not be sufficient room.

6. The literature review is required to include in text referencing to APA standards in addition to the reference list as noted above.

7. All of the papers, the reference list, and your written paper are to be handed in at the end of the exam. You will be required to sign that you have submitted your papers, and this will confirm that you have understood, and agreed to these specifications.
