The graduate generates technical information according to principles of ethics, clarity, and conciseness to ensure content integrity. 

INTRODUCTION

In your career as an IT manager, it is important for you to be able to communicate effectively for various purposes and to various audiences.

In this task, you will create two written deliverables based on the audience analyses you conducted in Task 1. You must successfully complete Task 1 prior to beginning Task 2.

REQUIREMENTS

Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. The similarity report that is provided when you submit your task can be used as a guide.

You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.

Tasks may  not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).

A.  Provide a copy of your completed, passing Task 1 with your submission for this task.

B.  Create the  actual deliverable you would write to communicate your message to the audience you identified in part A of Task 1, including the sections listed in the corresponding Work Scenario “Components” list.

Note: This should be the actual written communication deliverable you would send to your chosen audience.

C.  Explain the structure and design of the deliverable you submitted in part B by doing the following. Your explanation should be in a separate document from the deliverable you submitted in part B of this task:

1.  Explain how you effectively used  three of the following structural components in your deliverable from part B of this task:

•   headings and subheadings

•   paragraphs

•   bulleted lists

•   columns

•   placement (centered, indented, justified, etc.)

•   text boxes or callouts

•   white space

•   separation lines

•   tables

•   arrangement and grouping

•   template and layout

2.  Explain how you used  three of the following design components in your deliverable from part B of this task:

3.  Explain how your deliverable effectively demonstrates clarity and conciseness.

14. The submission includes in-text citations and references for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized and demonstrates a consistent application of APA style.

15. Content reflects attention to detail, is organized, and focuses on the main ideas as prescribed in the task or chosen by the candidate. Terminology is pertinent, is used correctly, and effectively conveys the intended meaning. Mechanics, usage, and grammar promote accurate interpretation and understanding.
