Americans accept the Jewish settlers because for one, it’s a requirement in the political world (slide 210) They also believe that if Jews were allowed to settle in Palestine, the British would incur low costs, their interests would be served and also the enemies to Britain would not have access to it they believed that the Jewish settlers would bring a lot of economic development to the British world. That would also mean reduced political tension and for another reason that it was prophetic fulfilment. (slide 278)
