Business Writing Topic Proposal

My proposal:

I propose to the office of the Dean that the Fox School of Business build a Hilton hotel on Temple’s campus.

Why:

Though the Conwell Inn is an option, it is small and only offers 22 rooms.

There is not a famous hotel located near Fox we can choose. Accommodation can be a problem if a friend or family member is visiting you if out-of-town prospective students or parents are visiting the school on off-campus. Many students either live in a dorm that does not permit overnight guests, or students are sharing a house or apartment, and taking friends home may cause inconvenience to roommates. Staying in a hotel is the most appropriate choice, but there are few hotels available near the school. A Hilton hotel will easily accommodate them, providing both comfort and security and enhancing guests’ experience at Temple. Building a Hilton hotel also brings opportunities for tourism/ hospitality students.
