People who live near building site

Might not want construction near their home

Shareholders

Will this endeavor be profitable or cost too much (if non profit)

CMU Students

Interested in being able to have classes off of CMU’s Main campus but still in town

Will want to have a chance to put their unique design on the map

Will the type of service change the zoning requirements for that area

Transportation board

Would be interested in when the project will commence – how much traffic will they need to deal with rerouting? time of day will work occur on? how long will project take?

Utility /service providers

Are there any wires/underground facilities that may need to be relocated or specially rerouted for the project duration

Fire Chief/dept

Dangers to community based on positioning/access for vehicles

Students

Professors/teachers: This could be both positive/negative. Could pull professors from other classes they could be teaching/spread too thin or it could create more job opportunities.

Older Adults attending the class: Good opportunity for them to learn and not feel sucked into the college atmosphere. An issue could be younger college students wanting to take the classes and pushing away older users.

Students: If it is possible to provide a residence near the campus

Community: In general might start to feel overwhelmed by the new building being added in such a small town

Bank/Investors: Providing the funding upfront. Want repayment with interest. Concerned with risk of the project (will they default) (will the investment be worth it)
