Discuss how the presentation topic relates to the course content

Provide facts about the topic

Include relevant names, dates, pictures as warranted

Include information from peer reviewed sources

Cite all references used in the Power Points on the slides AND provide a Reference list (INCLUDING images)

Format Suggestions

7x 7 is good – ~7 bullets per slide & ~7 words per bullet

Include an occasional topical picture/image to keep audience’s interest

Avoid using ALL CAPS – except for acronyms & slide titles

Use Spelling Check (under the Review tab)

Use consistent fonts – headings & bullet levels can be different, but be consistent from one slide to the next

Use easy to read font sizes & colors … avoid fonts smaller than size 20 & RED fonts

Follow capitalization rules – 1st word of bullet/sentence, pronouns, etc.

If you show a video, please note the audio is dependent on the source of the audio file, so if using Zoom, you have to adjust sound to be loud enough for those watching through Zoom to hear too.
