Organizations need better visibility and the ability to pivot quickly when a crisis arises. Organizations need to use data in smarter ways to spot disruption sooner, accurately gauge its impact, and make intelligent decisions about alternative sources of supply.
Solutions to the Problem
The creation of a vaccine for Covid-19 is the top solution.
The creation of efficient, nimble operations and data is the key to unlocking productivity.
Clear, prompt and transparent communications both internally and externally.
Maintain regular contact with suppliers regarding their capability to deliver goods and services, and work out recovery plans.
Acquire real-time data for real-time insights.
Encourage suppliers to digitize.

Ensuring reliability becomes an especially important issue in the extreme conditions of the organization’s functioning.
Creating organizational reliability in three areas, human resources (HR), information technology (IT), and management (MGT), as they are considered critical components of organizations that can foster its reliability both separately and in relation to each other.

Data governance policies and processes to make visibility simpler, easier, and more accessible throughout the enterprise.
