Subject: New Office Policies

To all staff,

I sincerely hope that each and every one of you enjoyed the holiday season with your family, friends, and loved ones. Now that the holiday season has come to an end, I have taken it upon myself to instate new office policies that will promote the holiday spirit all year long.

Effective immediately, the following polices will be adopted by Inland Application Development Inc.

1. Comfortable Friday

a. Forget the jeans, sneakers, and shirts with collars. From now on you are free to dress as you wish on Fridays.

b. The dress code policy will still be enforced, so remember that all clothes must be in good condition, clean, and well fitting.

c. Please keep in mind that if you are scheduled to meet with clients on Fridays, you are required to dress in business attire.

2. Telecommuting Schedule

a. All staff members now have the option of telecommuting once a week. This means that you may work from home, school, or any other place that you feel is appropriate.

b. If you choose to telecommute, you will be required to respond to e-mails, phone calls, and text messages in a timely fashion. It is crucial that response time is kept under an hour!

c. Please coordinate with your team leader to plan your telecommuting schedule.

a. Technology is ever-changing and as a technology driven business, it is our responsibility to stay current with the latest software development languages and techniques. Training will now be offered to all staff members.

b. You will have the choice of attending software development seminars, enrolling in programming classes at the local university, or participating in online based training classes.

c. All expenses related to training will be covered by Inland Application Development Inc.

As a company that focuses solely on creating software applications, and the nature of our business allows us to have certain freedom and privileges. These new policies were drafted to take advantage of this freedom and privileges and use them as a way of showing appreciation for your hard work and efforts. I truly hope that these new policies will bring joy to you throughout the year.
