Our Plan: • Recruit & train CHWs to provide 

BeMONC to home births in Kigoma  districts.

PROJECT GOAL & OBJECTIVES PROJECT GOAL: Improve coverage of essential maternal and  neonatal services in Kigoma, Tanzania 

Objectives:

1) Increase the proportion of villages with CHWs offering  essential maternal and neonatal services to 75% by the end of  year four

2) Among women receiving care from trained CHWs, ensure  essential maternal and neonatal services are appropriately  delivered

3) Develop plan for regional scale‐up and recommendations for  national CHW program
