PS 101 – American Government

Professor Nooshan Shekarabi

Exam #1 - Chapters 1, 2, and 3

P LEASE READ ALL DIRECTIONS BELOW BEFORE TAKING EXAM SO THAT YOU ARE CLEAR AS TO WHAT IS REQUIRED.

1. This exam is due at 6 pm on Sunday 4/25/2021. You simply upload your document into the area in which you access the exam when you have completed it.

2. I will NOT accept late exams. This exam is worth 60 points at 10 points for each question. There are 2 questions from each of the chapters you are responsible for this week for a total of 6 questions. Those 60 points are 20 percent of your grade in the course. Please make sure that you answer each question in 3-5 full paragraphs, with details, and no errors in spelling and grammar. The document should be font 12, single spaced, and typed. Refer to the rubric I have posted under modules for the guidelines. You need to answer ALL parts of the questions in an essay format to get full credit for each question. Again, reference the rubric please.

3. I am hoping that you will honor the integrity of the course and NOT Google answers or use open book and open notes for this exam. Your activity will be monitored by canvas through Turnitin, as well as me to ensure cheating is not taking place.

4. If you are a student with DSPS accommodations, please check your email for a message from me in reference to your special needs for this exam.

5. Please DO NOT email me to make exceptions for you or to bend the rules. This is not only against my policies in the course, but it is highly unethical and unfair to the other students who follow the policies and rules.
