Evidence Based Practice Assignment Guidelines
The purpose of this assignment is to introduce Evidence-based Nursing Practice to the first semester nursing student.
Instructions Part 1:
1. Go to the MyMC library page.
2. Select a nursing journal to find an Evidence-based Practice article based on topics from the first semester curriculum. Articles must be published within the last 5 years.
3. Email a copy of the article to your professor for approval.
4. Type your assignment using 12-point font and double-spaced.
5. Follow the APA format for in-text citations and reference page.
· Use 12-point font, Times New Roman
· Double space entries
6. Present a 5-minute overview to your class
7. Review and follow the assignment rubric point criteria for maximizing your grade.

Answer the following questions in 100-150 words each question. This can be in an essay format or use separate headings.
1. What problem that the nursing journal article is addressing?
2. Why is this problem significant to nursing practice?
3. Summarize the findings of the intervention from the journal article.
4. Describe 2-3 recommendation(s) for nursing practice.
5. Formulate a PICOT question related to the topic of your article
