Evaluation Plan

Creating a playground for kids to get more physical activity and learning.

The Chickahominy Community Improvement Organization has received grant funding to hold an evaluation with a temporary playground for 6 months (03/2019-09/2019) and illustration of why this children in the community need a playground.

· The purpose of the playground within the community is to cater to the children going without or in need of more physical activity in efforts to prevent childhood obesity.

· The overall goal of the project was to see if there was a true need for a playground in the community, how many kids would actually come out and participate, and how many parents would be active with their children having a positive experience.

· The population base where the funds were disbursed was a trial run to promote healthy children with a fun and safe atmosphere. The providing organization an evaluation and resources for assistance.

The main goal of the evaluation was to determine the total number of participants and if the families with in the community would take an advantage of the temporary playground and the overall collide of the playground within the community. Active participates shows the success of the project.
