Detailed Instructions for Section 2: Ethics and Social Responsibility

Step 1: Business Ethics Policy

Use this template for your  Ethics Policy  Download Ethics Policy.

Based on your e-book, write an ethics policy for your organization. The policy should describe the principles and values that the leadership expects all employees to uphold.

In your ethics policy, provide a summary of the values and principles that employees should adhere to.

Identify & explain two types of ethical concerns that might arise in your business.

Identify & explain two factors that can influence the level of ethical behavior in your organization.

Identify & explain two principles employees should follow when facing ethical dilemmas.

 

Step 2: Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Explain how your organization will demonstrate social responsibility. 

Summarize your leadership's stance on being socially responsible. 

Choose & explain either the economic view or the socioeconomic view of social responsibility and include it in your policy. 

Outline the steps your business will take to implement a social responsibility program. 

Step 3: Create a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation after you complete steps 1 and 2.

Use your answers to the items in Step 1 and Step 2 and build a PowerPoint Presentation.

Follow the guidelines provided in the Business PPT Instructions ( LINK) document for formatting expectations in both the slide content and notes section.

Cite external academic sources to support your decisions and statements. List your references on a separate slide, using a minimum of 3-4 references.
