Article Summary Assignment
You will choose an experimental research article, published in a peer-reviewed journal that is relevant to field of speech-language pathology. It can relate to ethics or to any one of the emerging trends that were discussed in this section. If you are unsure if an article is appropriate, you may send me the abstract for feedback (please make sure to place the abstract in the body of the email, not as an attachment).
You will summarize the article as a PowerPoint presentation. You will not be presenting the summary, that is just the format you will use. Therefore, any bullet points must be detailed enough for me to understand by reading it. You can find a template, with explanation, in this module. Once the article is summarized, please relate the article to your future practice as an SLP.
This assignment will be completed with a partner (there will be one group of three since this class has an odd number). Please email me your group names by 4/7 (this way I can put everything on BB so you can just submit the assignment one time).
