Ethical Decision Making In Accounting Assignment Instructions
Overview
Using the electronic databases provided by the Liberty University Online Library and other sources, search for journal articles in professional peer-reviewed accounting, ethics, and business journals that pertain to Ethical Decision Making In The Accounting Profession—Cognitive Process. You may also use scholarly books written on ethical decision making models, and moral and behavior reasoning.
Instructions
After you have researched the ethical decision making models, the cognitive process, and moral and behavior reasoning, write a research paper in current APA format. You must include the following core components in your research paper:
Describe in detail the Kohlberg and Cognitive Development Approach and Rest’s Four Companies Model of Ethical Decision Making using professional literature, textbooks, and course presentations. It is possible that a particular journal article could address both theories.
Evaluate each theory with respect to the following:
· Organizational culture of the accounting profession
· AICPA Code of Professional Conduct
· Present logical and thorough arguments, supported by scholarly sources, textbooks and course presentations, and the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct to defend the cognitive and morals you believe is most appropriate for the accounting profession.
· Biblical Worldwide View
Be sure to include a title page, outline, and a reference page in addition to your essay pages. The title page, outline, and reference page DO NOT count as part of the 10–15-page length requirement. Items to include are outlined as follows:
