Life generally involves various issues. Life can involve lots of challenges as well as successes. Based on the different factors in which people undergo, people are able to make various choices on the way they will lead their future. The following is an essay that will describe my background, experiences, life goals, education goals and also career goals. The essay will also discuss the importance of scholarship before making a conclusion. I was born from a low class family whereby my parents were able to provide the very common basic things in which every individual would need. I went through elementary school, to high school where I graduated and qualified to pursue a degree that would open a way for my career path. The journey up to this point has indeed not been a simple journey. It has been a journey full of challenges and successes at the same time. As a child, I was able to learn the fact that financial resources are very limited. Having been born in a family of ten children, my parents had to struggle to ensure each one of us had the necessary resources to carry out different activities in our lives. Another key factor I was able to grasp in my development is the fact that people are different. We have the high class people, middle class people and the low class people. Despite the differences, we have to live in harmony while integrating each other. We all have strengths and weakness and this generally means that no one is perfect. At some point, we need each other to ensure everything is functioning well. These experiences have been key in my decision to pursue higher education. Being educated provides an opportunity for development later in life. Pursuing higher education can also be the first step towards gaining a position that will be key in initiating projects to help other people in the society.

We all have goals we want to achieve education wise, career and life wise. Personally, on education I view this in two major ways. One way is the academic education whereby I am aiming at studying and attaining the highest degree (Master’s) in my career path. The second way is life education which is unending and it is based on daily learning thus building experience is a given field or life generally. Career is developed from experience. On life goals, I am aiming at constructing my dream home, traveling the world, and be able to support my children. To achieve all these plans, obtaining a first degree from an institution of higher learning will be the first step. This will be the foundation of achieving all these goals. Once the degree is obtained, this will open an opportunity for employment after which higher. I selected these three as it will ensure I attain the highest level of education in my career path. Learning to the highest point also provides a chance for better employment opportunities. Earning a degree will help me achieve all my goals stated above. My life goals are dependent on these educational goals. Educational goals as stated before will provide opportunity for employment. Once employment is obtained the rest of the goals can be achieved from the money obtained from this.

Most of the goals I have highlighted above are all dependent upon education. Most of them are education based or rather need education so that they can be achieved. Receiving a scholarship will thus be a very important factor in driving towards the achievement of my dreams. Being in a family with lots of financial constraints, a scholarship would be important to ensure I have the required amount of school fees to further my education. Life in higher education has proved to be expensive in one way or another. Other than just the school fees, students need money for other different activities. For instance, they need money for food and clothing which are very key for many of the students. Offering scholarship will thus be important in ensuring there is enough money to be used on other factors which may not necessarily be the school fees. Scholarship will therefore be key in ensuring smooth learning. Scholarship will ensure I remain focused psychologically and learn without stress of dropping out of the college due to financial issues. Smooth learning will ensure I achieve my educational goals and finally achieve my career and life goals. Scholarship would therefore be very key achieving all my goals. In conclusion, it is important to note that our backgrounds are normally very key in predicting the kind of a future in which one wants. Education also performs a key role in ensuring people achieve their career and life goals. It is therefore very important to ensure people are given the opportunity to learn so that they can achieve their goals.
