1) Who are you right now? Describe your financial personality:

Take some time to reflect on your approach to money. Are you more of a spender or a saver? Are you more risk seeking, or risk averse? Do you tend to worry about money? Or feel that things will work out? Do you proactively address money matters, or avoid thinking about issues and hope they go away? Give an example or two from your own life that illustrates how you tend to approach money issues.

2) Where do you come from? Describe your financial history:

Where do your tendencies come from? What aspects of your attitudes, values and behaviors around money come from the household where you grew up? (Do you see your family members as role models that you aspire to emulate? Or as a cautionary tale of how not to handle your finances? Or both? Explain your answer.)

3) Where are you headed? Describe the financial future you aspire to:

Looking forward, where do you want to end up? What do you need to do to get where you want to be? Identify aspects of your approach to money that you want to improve or amplify. Be as specific as possible and share examples of things you want to do more of, do less of, or change from the way you do things now.
