The assignment should discuss in detail your evaluation of an information technology system. The one I chose is the Credit Card swipe machine. This paper must be in APA format.

Choice 1. Credit card swipe machines at most stores require a signature as input. The scrawled signature, accomplished with a stylus on a scratched, mottled surface, often only slightly resembles the buyer's signature. At some CVS pharmacies, you don't have to sign the credit card swipe machine at all if you purchase $10 or less worth of goods. What other inputs occur during a CVS credit card transaction, and what do you think is the added value of a signature? What processing and outputs occur?

You will need to investigate the technologies used, the IPO, namely input, processing, output, security features, risks and benefits, and impact on society. You will need to investigate any loopholes in the technologies used. Finally, you need to determine which company/airport has the best technologies from the perspectives of efficiency, durability, security, and portability.
