Review Essay:

1) Paragraph 1: Introduction (should contains thesis)

2) Paragraph 2: Description or summary of subject

3) Paragraph 3: Strengths & weaknesses of first point (limit your points (3), Use stats, facts, logic, reason, quotes, etc. to support your points

4) Paragraph 4: Strengths & weaknesses of second point(limit your points (3), Use stats, facts, logic, reason, quotes, etc. to support your points)

5) Paragraph 5: Strengths & weaknesses of third point(limit your points (3),Use stats, facts, logic, reason, quotes, etc. to support your points)

6) Paragraph 6: Conclusion (Brief- Gives closure -Reasserts the topic )

· Imagine your review from both the positive and the negative (believe in it/doubt it)

· Then, synthesize. Which side is stronger?

· Involves vivid imagery

· Use as many senses as you can (sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell)

· Add a photo or two to enhance the subject (should use appropriate citation and MLA format when including outside sources)

· An over-the-top review that focuses more on emotion and reaction rather than reason & logic
